My wife is retiring Dec. 31 and taking into account holidays and days off, she only has 8 more working days left.

My plans are to retire about Jan. 15th. I have a couple of projects that won't finish up until then. I told the boss I'd stick around to help get those done. Frankly, it's getting tougher every day to go to work.

Merry Christmas to all.

The very reason I didn't get another job. I didn't want to do it anymore.

I get older and hopefully understand better, you realize there will be losses to go through, and there's nothing good about the loss, time will heal the wounds, but nothing is going to make it all better. This is life, and every single day of it is a gift, but it sure ain't perfect, some days are cherries and some days are pits.

Interesting a match that is always good I always wanted boy-girl-boy-girl or girl boy whatever doesn't matter as long as I can indicate on the birth certificate that it was a girl born on this date or a boy born on this date without having to worry about political correctness

I think im changing jobs.

people i have worked with in the past highly recommended me when another company deiced they were going to employ there own E&I.
The idea of starting in a company that normally uses contractors for all there work is a bit daunting but they seem willing to throw a bunch of money at setting up a E&I department.
I went Friday on a meet and greet and it seems a great place. Its still a case of better the devil you know but this seems interesting. We both agreed its to close to xmas so the formal interview will be in January where some of the fluff like "better pay, better benefits" will be sorted into real numbers.
