@LARMGUY

You seem to have lost focus on the SUV for the wife. You have been sidetracked by the Willys, so I suggest getting a nicely restored one for the wife.

Then when you show up with it, she will roll her eyes and say "Keep it". The only drawback of course is that she may then go out and get that $150k Mercedes G-Wagon.... Or kill you.

Wifey was too tired to shop for a car yesterday. Maybe this weekend.

Now that is dern funny. She wanted one of the Willys for herself but my son moved to Phoenix. He had big plans to fix them up and keep one. Wife and I bought them for him, at his direction, at auction for $100. He never made a forward move to fix to take them or ship them. Or his 240Z, or his 72 Chevy pickup, or his 300Z. Get my drift? My garage was stuck with all of his projects after he moved.

After 10 years, I FINALLY got rid of the last one. I still have body parts for the truck. Going to stick them on Craigslist. Of course momma gave him the money for the sale of all of them. No inconvenience fee for me or nothing. Oh well.

Anyone need an almost complete front clip for a 72 Chevy C10? Steering wheel column, power brake booster, etc.

We bought an MGB for her mother before she passed. It was green so she named it Froggy.
