I just tried uploading an image of Genie Bouchard on Safari and this is what I got:

genie.jpg:
Upload of file failed.

Probably a good thing since an image of Genie would make these guys blow a gasket...

I have a ticket in on this issue. It's a bit more difficult to figure out when everyone isn't experiencing the issue, but they will get to the bottom of it.

If you are not able to attach images right now (by uploading to the site) please let me know what device you are using, which operating system, and which browser, please.

I am getting the error message. I tested from my desktop, Windows 10 (fully updated) and Chrome. I also tested in Edge and Firefox.

Upload Errors
creek.jpg:
File system directory is not writable.

If you ARE able to upload images, I need the same information, please.

firstly, I don't have a "manage attachments that I know of", so hopefully this post isn't in vain. I uploaded to albums, and linked.

1) vista home premium sp1, old clunky toshiba laptop that I'm cooking my dinner on, slimjet browser (yeah, baby: http://www.slimjet.com/) ), antivirus: none (oh yeah)

uploaded 2 pics without errors

are you guys sure that your browser didn't update and screw up the javascript settings ? ( I noticed that when I updated the firefox ver50 on my win7/64bit computer I had to go to about:config and re enable java)

2) same vista computer, used firefox 32bit ver 51.0.1, uploaded fine

3) I just checked the version of internet exploder on this laptop, and I'm not even going to tell you what it is, so I bailed on that, lol

4) I guess you know chrome bailed on vista last year, so this post is done. hope it helps

@wildleg we are referring to this method of uploading an image. (post #1)
http://www.electriciantalk.com/f34/h...r-posts-70972/

There is no issue uploading to albums.

No worries, I just wanted to make sure we don't confuse which method that is causing the error message.

They are working on this.

Could those of you who were unable to upload attachments using the attachment manager (paperclip) from your computer (not phone) please try again, now.

I'm not certain it is fixed yet, which is why I need someone who couldn't upload images previously (via the attachment manager) besides me.
