Default The best link I've found to enter this site

Yesterday the ET server was returning 503's.

At some point the browser got stuck on https://www.electriciantalk.com/search.php?do=getnew
and I saved that to my favorites bar.

That is a very useful link to enter the site and have it immediately display New Posts. I now have it on my favorites (shortcuts?) bar in my primary browser. I can now open a browser and use 1 click to display the New Posts. Previously I had tried to figure this out and never could, so I deem this a suggestion to anyone else who may want to use that link.

I have always had it this way. I don't go to subscribed threads or any of the individual forums, I just skim thru the new threads.

In many browsers you can just click and hold on "New Posts" at the top and drag it to the bar to get it to become a favorite.

I like the New because once I am done I will go to Quick Links and click Mark Forums Reads. Then when I come back it only shows me the threads with new posts since I left.

A search I did yesterday gave a very odd looking results page but it was still working.

There was a network-wide hiccup yesterday for a few minutes, but other than that I haven't seen any issues.
