Default HOW TO POST IMAGES PLEASE??? (I host my own)

In the past I had no trouble with uploading my images to my own website and posting the link in the thread using the image tool. Now, when I do I can see the image in the thread, even after I save it, but when I reload the thread it's not visible. INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE????

Is the site where you are are hosting your images secure? (HTTPS). If not, your images will not display. You might consider uploading your images directly to the forum instead.

I do it an easier way. I go advanced, manage attachments, browse for photo, open photo (this uploads the photo) then check out the preview.
Then submit.

But the photo must reside on your computer to do it this way.
