Default Logged Out But Not By Me

I always leave my account logged in, as I do for every site. Some sites I've been continuously logged in for more than 5 years. A week or so ago, I was logged out but I didn't log myself out. Resetting my password proved to be extremely difficult. After more than a few attempts, I was finally able to reset it.

Was this some sort of a cruel joke? I doubt it but if so, it wasn't funny.

Am I no longer wanted here? Again, I doubt it but if so, simply log me out again and I'll respect Admins wishes.

Was it due to lousy programming? If so, it'd be a good idea to reprogram so as to never log anyone out automatically. It was a major hassle to log back in again.

Also, while I certainly understand the need for security, it'd be a good idea to make the password reset actually work. It failed about a half-dozen times then it finally worked.

Don't clear your history on any of. your electronic machines that are logged into the site. That will log you off. It's why I don't let Cricket convince me to change my password every time Home Depot get's massively hacked.

Since you live near Reno in Nevada, I'm leaning towards the cover up in LV as the reason.. It's a conspiracy.

I suspect it's a forum issue. I use Tapatalk and I am always having to log back in and I never log out. I will even get notified that I have had too many failed login attempts and can't log in for 15 min.

I like that you're kinda paranoid ... Just like me

1. You're definitely wanted and needed around here

2. They probably just rebooted some server somewhere

3. I never log out either, but the system logs me out after about an hour or two ... don't know why they don't do that to you !

4. Or most likely, maybe I hacked your account, to have that Greenlee tool bag shipped to me

Guys, I hoped to keep this from you to spare your feelings, but.

That was no random drawing.
The bags got to pick who they wanted to work with.

I sent them an email to the bags with the picture below, explaining with me, this is what their future holds. With @zac, @HackWork, and most of these suckers, the could be hauling Hot Pockets, one hitters, surfboard wax, video game paraphenalia, moisturizer, and Hello Kitty collections.

With @backstay, @micromind, and me, it's going to be real man tools, folding rules, carpenter's pencils, combination squares, high quality crimpers, and occasionally spare magazines depending on the neighborhood.

I travel once in a while, the backpack will come in handy.

Usually, I have only 1 suitcase and put my tools in it but of course, it gets a bit heavy........sometimes nearly 60 lbs. But now I'll check 2 bags plus it'll be a good place to keep my tools on the job rather than have them strewn about.

If I keep the tools to a minimum though, I bet I can get a 2HP 145T frame motor in it and maybe even room for the starter.........lol.
