Default What Is My Token

On my Android device I am getting a notice from this site everytime I try to open this site that MY TOKEN HAS EXPIRED. Today is the first time I have noticed.

My question is what my token, how long does it last, what can I do to fix this problem , and what can I do to prevent this problem?
Thanks
LC

It has to do with "secure site" access. I would contact admin.

Sometimes these things get jacked up with time discrepancies (used to be more common) maybe it had something to do with DST? I'd restart the device all the way, make sure the time is correct, clear browsing data (careful! stored passwords?) and see if it cures itself.

Every time I here that word "token" I think of the subway tokens I used to buy for the "B" train in Brooklyn.

It's for secure sign in to a system.
For RSA two factor authentication you use a traditional login, then enter a password, then you must enter a passcode and a token number.
A token can come from a piece of hardware that is about the size of a thumb drive or it can be a text or a email giving you a limited time passcode. The hardware has a display that is synced with the server you are signing into and change the number about once a minuet.
google RSA token for more info.
It is a pain but it is much more secure than the traditional single factor authentication.

drsparky is slightly right here, you will not need to enter a token log in, it is tied to your session when you log in automatically. Hitting the "remember me" function prevents this token from expiring for example. Most times logging into the forum fresh will reset your token, but if not wiping the cache and deleting cookies will assist in resetting the token as well.

Hope this helps,

Gerrit
