Just looking to see what all companies are hiring, I work for one now and weíre doing a college now but I donít much care for the crooked stuff the company does, just looking to see if anyone has any opinions on other contractors

Amtec in Lexington seems to always be hiring. They do mostly large commercial or industrial buildings. R & L in Bowling Green is a similar company. Not sure about pay at either.

Where do you live now? Several NKY/ Cincinnati companies are looking for service folks. Check out indeed.com

Amtec is probably one of the worst electrical companies you can work for in Kentucky, they do have work but the pay isnít good at all. Right now weíve gotten probably 10 people from Amtec working for us, they had nothing good to say about the company

My goal is to get into troubleshooting and service work, right now the company I work for does commercial work and some industrial but hardly no service work. I came from industrial maintenance I did for 5years so I enjoy troubleshooting

That is a common reason that some companies are always hiring - no one wants to work for them.

I have never worked for Amtec. They did the building on a job where we did the equipment electrical.
