People should just get Blackhawk Powerhouses and then they would only need a 40A service.

Never heard of this until now. Doubt it's CSA approved, though.

Pretty much have to sign away the 'first born' to get more than 100 amps from the poco here. Gas furnace but electric stove and dryer is the norm. Air isn't the norm for most places. 125 amp fuses in the pedistal power 3 houses. Poco works 24/7 so that's the way it is.

Being i hail from edison era services inadequate for the larger homes diced up into apartments , we gets boint mains....~CS~
