Thanks again for all the input. They offered me the job. I'm going to meet with my current boss tomorrow. Feels like it's going to be a bad breakup. I still need to work out the final details, but it looks like some changes are coming my way..

Well, you guys were right again. Surprisingly, my boss was super cool about my job offer. He's sad to see me go, but he can't fault me for bettering myself. He said he would have felt different if I were going to the competition. I made sure to let him know how much I appreciate the opportunity he has given me.

just read this whole thing and i am so proud to be part this group right now! i never realized how understanding some of you 'bigger' guys can be! but i probly missed some posts that would back that up
