Hey Wirenuting,

Just does your Furlough work? Is it through a union or is it shop wide? Please no union/open shop argument. I happen to be in the IBEW up here in New York City and we have a furlough system in place so I was just curious to see if other areas did this as well.

Normal day of work. Went in at 7 and worked til 6.

Not to bad, started the day off by 5 of us guys going 60 miles south with two pick up trucks and a semi. Farmer had his irrigation well collapse and had a new one dug 25' away. Had to move the pump panel and underground wire and pipe to it.

Got that done shortly after dinner. Had a service call on the way back, A guys irrigation motor wouldn't start. Found a bad "Hand/Off/ Auto" switch.

Another service call 5 miles away. Had a back disconnect inside a sz 3 1/2 pump panel. Had a new panel brought out to us and whipped it out in no time.

Got back to the shop, cleaned out the truck and that was the day.

While some preach about saving people, they are making the people an easier target.
