Default Australian Sparky in BC Canada

Hey all,

I am an Australian currently living in BC and wanting to get my Aus electrical licence recognised here. I have 10 year experience and will sit the exam.

Finding it hard to collect information. To work for an employer do I need to attain an A,B or C FSR Licence or just a Canadian Real Seal? And is it as simple as.. Study (for ages), complete exam and bam your licensed!?

Cheers, any info is much appreciated

I would contact the ITA for challenging the Red Seal.

and this...

Regardless of your experience, I still think you need to hold your Red Seal for 2 yrs for A, 1 year for B, and forget about a C.
