I installed an emergency light that goes on when the power is on and off when the power is off. WTF? Out of six, this was the only one with a personality crisis.
These are cheap Chinese no name self powered units but they come out of the same factory as the name brand chit at a third of the cost.
So are you going to share where you got these? For 1/3 of the price, I'll buy 10% extra and charge 30% over name brand retail for them. Win Win for me
The pin configuration should prevent it from being flipped on the board as the coil pins are usually on one end. Are the output leads to the lamp & battery swapped?
"Here George you know that emergency light you designed last month the one that turns on the lights to indicate that the battery is bad"
"Yer"
"you ever consider that someone will think its working backwards"
