Sad fact in this is the local supply houses had nothing I needed for this work, Home Depot had it all.
That is really sad.

You got done what you needed. Interesting, what did Home Depot have that the supply house didn't? Cleaning supplies? They definitely are open later. Then again, by this point in our careers we usually can get into the supply house after hours anyway.

CRC Lectra Clean, cloth wipes, temporary lighting, bought a new generator.

It was rush hour and at that time of day it was two+ hours to my shop, 30 minutes to HD.

I worked for them for a minute when I was 18. I recall no training or gear to be in the muck or equipment I ran. Fun times.

So status quo, just as they were in NY-NJ. But not as bad as a couple 'Maid' companies that seemed to clean out the interior of office drawers before grabbing a mop or sponge.

I guess. The area has been deemed hazardous because of all the paint, chemicals and plastics that were burned. People cleaning all the smoke damaged stuff have to be trained and wear PPE. Even the homeowners sifting through the remains of there houses had to suit up.

Some nice areas but all that traffic making it rough to get around. I'm much calmer down here on the bay and my BP is lower than ever.
