I used to strip most of it but nowadays it just isn't worth it. I still come in on a Saturday have a few beers and strip the bigger stuff but honestly it is just not worth it for me.
I think I get $1.65 insulated and $2.10 stripped. Not worth the chance of cutting my hand for that.

On install jobs we always gave scrap to the apprentices.

Glad I held onto my 500 pounds. triple M is paying 3.10 today for bright copper. I think it'll go even higher

i took an unstripped truck full to the local place last Saturday... bought a new pressure washer with the money (had to add a few bucks, but it was close)..
