Default Don’t you just love new construction?

All my wire and cable got ripped off, somebody bent the eff out of a ladder and somebody cut my panel mounting plywood up into little pieces.

Show me a portable surveillance camera so I know who to kill next time.

Sounds more like you are "in da hood" than up in snow country bro!

Looking to get your camera stolen too?

That sucks 99, I have some land and a small backhoe if you need a hand.

A large contractor set up here at the airport for a summer job. They tied into our power at a building next to their site with 4,4,SOW that had explosion proof ends. Someone came in last Fri night and stole all the wire feeding the trailers. We are an Airport with thousands of cameras and these guys just walk in and don't give a crap if anyone see them.

If you walk in with a hard hat, hi viz shirt and vest nobody would ever pay any attention to a guy picking up cables.

Why would you mount a panel on plywood?

This was in the burbs. Never trust a soccer mom with a Land Rover and a coke habit.

Fiberglass ladder. Step got crunched (scissor lift I suspect).

I use an aluminum extension ladder. Nice and light. Nothing wrong with that for rough in.

Got the wire and cable back. Apprentice for the base building electrician got a little carried away with clean up. I can’t get mad at a guy like that. Mistakes happen.

I left a bucket of string overnight on my job site Tuesday , gone on Wed. Janitor.
I cannot prove it of course, but there are exactly three keys to that room and two of them belong to site personal , myself, the GC , and the janitor. GC don't like string..............

Somebody managed to get in through the back window of my pickup last week. Not much in there to steal, so they took a bag of chips, a can of pop, and three Milwaukee felt pens. At least they didn't break the glass.

Was the wire just laying around or was it locked in a storage trailer/vault/job box?

It was stacked neatly beside the panel. Fairly secure site, all the subs know each other.

It didn’t make sense that wire and cable went missing and power tools stayed.

Theft from vehicle around here is big. Not construction vehicles but just in people's driveways. They leave their wallets in there, guns, keys, car unlocked, and then they're shocked when something gets stolen. As far as I'm concerned, it should be against the law to call the cops to report something stolen from an unlocked car, and if you're dumb enough to leave it unlocked with your wallet and pistol in there, I'm glad it got stolen, hopefully by someone not dumb enough to leave it in an unlocked car.
