Love him or loathe him, he does a good job of promoting using licensed professional contractors.

I promote using licensed contractors. Can I have a cable tv show where I do nothing but point out obvious faults and say "shoulda woulda coulda" all day every day? I promise to be an overwieght, balding, arrogant prick as well.

Can't stand him. Not his knowledge which pretty much all of us have if not more of it, him. Like a little farkin' whiny girl.

Makes me wanna puke.

Can't stand his sidekick either, nor do I like Kitchen Cousins.

Property Brothers and Income Property are the ones I watch.

Wah wah wah.

You sound like one of those people who like to hate others for no reason and call them names.

That was the whole trouble with the internet some do belive them first then us due most home owners will have no clue why it will take extra time due each home is build different so some will take more time to install the recessed luminaire and some are easy to do it.

I think he should extend the same courtesy to the work he's ragging on all the time. He walks through every job criticizing the previous tradespeople when he has no idea, in some cases, what was going on at the time of the initial work. Maybe the homeowner refused to upgrade some key things, etc. I could walk around and point out faults with almost anything that I didn't know very much about.

Anyone who isn't a fag and doesn't care for pierced ears on 50 year old fat men in tight overalls and no undershirt care to fill me in on what "metro-sexual" means?

I could care less wether you're straight or not. It's no big deal that you're not. To each their own, but to call a respectable contractor names because you don't like his earrings is sad.

I didn't call a respectable contractor a fag, I called Mike Holmes a fag.

Holmes is always slamming other contractors even when the work was inspected and approved by a municipal building inspector.Never does he criticize the officials for passing the work. One time he personally installed a garage door opener outlet on the show.So hypocritical when he's always preaching get a permit and use qualified tradesmen.I emailed his company and pointed out that you have to be a licensed electrical contractor to do electrical work for the public.I said handyman have been fined for doing just that, they fly under the radar of the officials yet you do it on national T.V. Pisses me off when he does'nt practice what he preaches. If he had to actually bid on any of these jobs he would'nt have a hope in hell of getting them.Hell the spray foam insulation he's so fond of costs like 6 bucks a sq.ft! Making it right and making it expensive!
