im going to enter a program in a few months when i leave the military. its called V.I.C.E (veterns in constuction electrical) in WA. its a five year apprenticeship program. looking for advice from someone who is in trade currently (or knows someone there now) got a few questions..
-what do you recommend i study prior to obtaining apprenticeship? if so, any possible links or book names would be helpful. there is an apptitude test i will take in a few months
-please google (V.I.C.E WA) the first link is it. under program infromation it is "Construction apprentice" take a look and see if this looks like a good program and trade to pick up?
-is this a stable job and good career?
ive also considered lineman, however; i think this one would be better in long run. even though linesman does sound like a fun and good trade right now as a young man, but maybe not so in 20+ yrs. Thank you, all insight is appreciated
