Default Leviton Panels

So who here has used one yet? If so what are your thoughts on it?

I'm planning on using one on an upcoming job. They were VERY competitive on pricing so I figure why not give it a shot.

There was a time when people installing Trilliant panels probably thought they were the next big thing too.

I get what you're saying, but should we be afraid to try new products?

I'm generally the first one to try new products, but when it's something like a panel that will need future service and upgrades, I'm a little gun shy.

I seen the fold-out in EC mag too.. Got curious and called SH. The quote was fair but the $65 door assembly and $70 AF breaker killed it for me.

LOL

If the GFCI/AFCI circuitry is as sorry as their end-of-line GFCIs, enjoy your callbacks.

How is a residential panel competetive? I can roll out an Eaton BR 200 amp main breaker 40 space, some breakers included panel from Lowe's for $121. For something to be competitive, it has to be the same quality and featured product or service, at a lower price. Unless leviton has upped their game, which I highly doubt, they aren't competitive at $20 per panel.

I would question whoever gave you that estimate because my prices were nowhere near those. I would actually save money using Leviton versus Siemens or CH.

I just looked at the price difference for an upcoming panel change and I would save $50 versus Siemens and around $75 versus CH.
