Just because it is plastic doesn't mean it spontaneously combusts bro. Stuff lasts a looong time, unless someone smashes the f*ck out of it. Your weather ain't any more extreme than they are here in NH, and we even use Service Entrance Cable with a plastic sheath and no conduit!!!! OH NOES!!!111

I said I never saw this until years into the trade, still can't get my head around it. can't help where I was born & learned.

just not used to it is all.

f*cking creeps me out for some reason.

I just happen to like my electrons bouncing into each other while they are encased in steel. lol

1920 called and it wants its wiring methods back. Get with the program brah.

I think this works better. Same job I saw bx jammed in a blue box. All I could do is walk away.
