I have never installed their enclosed controls, but use a lot of their meterbases. I like them.

Love the combo meters.
Website (iPad) could use bigger photos and larger font on the search pages, easier and quicker to scan photos to narrow down what I am looking for, product numbers start running together with my old eyes. And have accessories, such as the generator interlocks product numbers listed within the item descriptions.

Surface Mount Power Outlet
U5000 series. It would be nice to see these with 3 nema 5-20's and 2 14-50r's.

They would make a hell of a compact temporary panel for the jobsite. It would sure beat lugging around an old heavy panel with bell boxes, in use covers and that whole mess that goes with supporting it, not to mention the weight of it, vs an almost perfect solution with that
U5000 series

I've never used an enclosed control, but I've built maybe a dozen services on what they call a "strut system". A few were for cell phone towers and a few were for billboards where the meter couldn't be located right on the billboard structure due to access problems for the meter reader. In the case of cell phone towers and billboards, looks was of little to no concern, which is the objection the enclosed controls seems to overcome.

Default Definitely Will Consider Milbank

This is the first time I've seen milbank equipment, but their enclosures look great. If they're available in Canada, I would definitely look into their products if I have to do another temporary panel/service or even for control enclosures.

Wow...what am I even talking about?? I see Milbank meter bases all the time. I have even installed a more than a few. I realized I don't even look at the names on them, they are just that common. I would just install or service them and carry on. It has been a while but from what I recall they are great!

Never installed strut system like that, or a pedestal setup. Used plenty of milbank meter enclosures though.

I would agree on pvc hubs, and a more solid connection for the lugs. They always feel a little flimsy when torqueing down the lug to specifications (totally kidding, i torque to one grunt, unless dealing with something over 200A then I get the wrench)

I really wish the UQFP / UQFB breakers were updated or phased out of new products, company has replaced 4 burned up in pedestals year.

No mast issue as The POCO came in the bottom and I went out the bottom back to the main panel.
