Default Motorola Xoom

Since we got our bonuses yesterday, I decided to buy one. Should be here in a few days. Anyone else have one?

IF you got it for a decent price, then I'd say go for it. But, there's a lot of good tablets out for the money. (Transformer prime)
Xoom uses nvidia's tegra 2 processor (dual core CPU/quad core gpu) when tablets are now shipping with the tegra 3(quad core-technically 5-core CPU/16-core gpu)
Also, android 4.0(ice cream sandwich) is much better than 3.0(honeycomb)
Keep in mind, the Xoom is kind of a developers tablet(good thing), comes unlockable from the factory allowing you to install custom software.
Check this link, the Xoom can be turned into a beast of a tablet, even with slightly old hardware-- I'd take a Xoom over the 'new' iPad any day.

Probably should be in off-topic btw

I've had one for almost a year now. It has been one of the handyest tools that I have. Every panel that we build, or control work we do I use it to take pictures, keep manuals, and a host of other things. Its tough too. Like I said mine is right at a year old and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I just got the new iPad, and I love it. I am an apple guy, so, naturally I like the iPad setup. Di11igaf will tell you otherwise, and he's not an apple guy. I'm not here to argue, as I really dont give a śhít who buys what. The Xoom does look like a good tablet, and you should be happy when it arrives. These new tablets are really handy in our trade. This is the setup I have with my iPad. A nice keyboard with stand, making it like a small touchscreen laptop.
