Default Nj Transit Electrical Aptitude Test

Just wondering if anyone has taken the test? Curious about any information someone would have on this test? What I should be expecting! Thanks

Probably electrical questions like how many amps in a 20 amp circuit?

Ground up or ground down?

If 'hack work' is seen on a job, will a Carlon blue box be lurking nearby?

Awesome a lot of help. I'll make sure I stop by Home Depot and grab some of those blue boxes. They're great

Have a friend that took PATH test. Know Ohm's law, and how to solve simple problems using it. Also, there may be a practical component to it. They may give you a box with several pairs of terminals, and a multimeter, and see if you can identify what the component is that's hooked up to each set of terminals. (Resistor, capacitor, etc) also review schematic symbols, so can identify common items. That will give you a start, at least.

Is it a civil service exam?
What level of proficiency are you?

Don't listen to those making jokes about working for the government.
Its great work with benefits, that they don't have.

It's a written exam. Like reading comprehension. Some mathematics and some electrical theory. And i've been working in the field for about three years, so I can handle myself hands in but I'm not the best in electrical theory. Was just trying to get a leg up on the competition.
