Good God...... you could have at least removed the bar codes from the offsets.

J/K.... Doubt I would have done any better in a pinch at 10pm on a Saturday night.

Not bad for 10pm. The last 10pm service I had to do I had some deadly SER from the meter can to the existing panel. Failed the inspection because the SER was subject to physical damage according to the inspector. He made me disconnect the service and sleeve it on the exterior.

Stupid observation time. It is summer . No one is going to freeze to death. I would have left em with a gas gen, running for the fridge and come back next morning to do a real job. I would not stay up at night to produce that unless somebody inside was going to die if I didn't.

I'm not that proud of it. I post it on here to get other ideas and opinions for next time. And I get a kick of some of the guys that do every install the best way possible every time and never just make do with what they have and the time there aloud and wire every place like the Taj Mahal.

Listen Dash...

Did you deposit the check in the bank? Did you leave the satisfied customer with a fixed mast? Did you come through and make it happen despite the odds at 10 pm? I think you did a fine job seeing what you were up against.

Heck, ive been known to throw something like that up before at 5 pm on a Friday when I working an hour away from home. Don't sweat it.

the percentage of people who put their work up here is ridiculously small. I commend you for putting it up and taking the criticism like a champ. all the backlash is worth it if you pick up one tip or technique that you can pull out next time you're in a jam. nobody knows it all. I credit most of my best installations to the abortion I put up before it!
