Me and my boss got in an argument today about furnace circuits. He said it's ok to run SEU to furnaces. Is he correct ?

Well, i am a beginner. I just always assumed it had to be in copper by all my previous boss'es and furnace guys.
You have to start learning the facts and not just going by what you are told.

When you are told something, go look it up in the code book to confirm and expand on it. I did that from early on and it paid off in the long run. It also teaches you how to read the code book.

Must be a big furnace! It can't be for a gas-fed furnace. A/C condensers used to be wired like this all the time, especially in the cheap condos and townhouses. Hell, I've seen that crap used even in wealthy neighborhoods. Must be those evil EC's looking maximize their profits or something!!!
