"My mother wanted to go out and get breakfast yesterday at 9:30, but had to go to breakfast and the bank and come back before 11:30. Anyone else, no problem, my mother, we go out to breakfast, we have nothing to talk about. She goes into a tirade about how with technology and all these people driving the wrong ways on the freeway that we need to develop technology that has weight sensors in the road and maybe put spikes and big signs with lights on the off ramp for when it senses people driving backwards. My response, “no,” she looks dumb founded. “no.” she goes: “what, huh, why?
I then explain to her that we should get rid of lawyers and warning labels and allow darwin to take care of all of these people before they drive the wrong way on the freeway. If we pushed common sense instead of labels and pay days we would probably have less of this. I apparently have no compassion and I’m insensitive to people.”
Phone chargers don't need any help from children some of them probably self ignite on their own. As for kids getting hurt on home electronics is probably a common occurrence. Vap-cigarettes exploding, cell phones batteries catching fire because they sleep with them under their pillows. They should teach common sense in school. Just as important as math or English.
School is already failing to teach them math and English. If they started teaching common sense, itbwould be worse. This is a parenting problem.
