Default things that peeve me:

Good switches that get replaced that I will never have a use for and dropping a new AFCI breaker and breaking the handle.

Take it back. It's defective.

This box was filled with spray in foam insulation.

I cleaned it as best I could. I did it very, very slowly, as I drank their beer very, very quickly!

What are the make and model of those switches? I may be able to use them if you want to sell them.

Inspecting an approved engineered design that the contractor has taken upon themselves to alter and listening to the whining that follows when I can't approve it.

Cooper smart dimmer, 2pole with leads...the other I have is same but non dimmable. Not a fan of the "smart" switches.

Drywallers, roofers that use screws three inches too long, masons that bury temp lights in the wall instead of moving them two feet over to the duct opening even when you leave them a loop. Pushy carpenters that don't want to wait for a rough in inspection, it's a list that could keep going. I will stop there.

The client for a high end residential project decides there are receptacle locations he doesn't need anymore.

So he decides to remove them himself.

After rough inspection and before drywall.

Can you say voided warranty?

The high-dollar EE who is only book - smart and requires things like "keyless pullchains" and "0% loss transformers".

Yes, strictly commercial or industrial. Not sure I've ever seen a set of engineered electrical plans for a house. There are some out there I bet.

A plumber who changes out pipe and leaves the gas line bond hanging in mid air.
