Default You Gotta Pay Attention

We were performing some MV testing yesterday to try and ascertain what the issue was at a site when they went to generator 10 seconds into the test, boom.

Seems the generator had the wrong pots and voltage regulator, voltage went extremely high and the Surge Arrestors blew.

Are farts lumpy?

So, the surge arresters did their job?
Did the unit have fuses?
Was it a new installation?
