Default previous college credits

i am currently in the process(awaiting testing)of trying my hand as an apprentice. I have a question dealing with if previous college credits can be transferred towards my union apprenticeship schooling. I graduated from Ivy Tech Community College in May of 2012 with an associate degree in Industrial Technology(more geared towards plant maintenance). I have taking, and received credit in the following courses: basic electricity, electrical circuits, motor and motor controls, PLC 1 & 2, intro to national electric code, and electric wiring fundamentals. Will i get credit for any of these courses(i have have also taking all the english, math, speech etc..)? will having this degree help me to during the interview process? btw..i am 35 yrs old..

In all likelihood you will not get credit for previous studies. so don't let it be a shock to you if they say no. Actual hours doing electrical work with your hands in the field is what you may get credit for.
