Default New Blackberry Priv phone charging

Help!
Purchased a new $700 Blackberry Priv Android cell phone...has an LED light that runs along the edge of the phone that indicates when it is charging/fully charged.
No matter what charger I use (most are 5V/1A) as I understand, the LED light does not consistently come on...briefly at times...even purchased a 5V/9V/12V Qualcomm "Quick Charge 2.0" charger, said to offer 75% quicker charge times and reputed to work with the Qualcomm processor in this phone! No luck!
Must be something with the consistent output of the outlets in my apartment (tried them all..couple times it did work briefly) because the phone charges with the light feature functioning EVERYWHERE but in my unit...even in the main office of the complex I reside at!
What can I do to make this feature work consistently?

This is an professional electricians forum, not a cell phone forum.

I would suggest you contact the seller or carrier.
