Smile Hello All

Good Afters,
Been lurking here a few days after finding the site and registering. Can't remember how I found the site.
Originally from England, I moved here when I married and either I moved here or the wife moved to England, and I picked the short straw. Apprentice trained in Royal Air Force then when I left that did some further training at North East London Poly and then later at Doncaster College. Now a licensed contractor in New Jersey.

It is just a genetic characteristic of Canadians. It is why they can run faster.

Thanks all.
No, not Canadian.
I am bi-lingual, I speak English and American but not a lot of Americans can understand me.
Yes I still have an accent, only been here eight years.

Just curious, did you LITERALLY decide your life by drawing straws, or was that just a saying?

How long? My wife has been here 32 years, others notice her accent, I never do.
