It's not actually that bad for commercial sparks Brian, I don't really know about domestic though..

I only know one UK electrician in Bournemouth and he works for the city, my relatives are in residential construction and a variety of other work in Portsmouth. At present they are not working in the trades due to lack of work.

I have a sparky friend who lives in Portsmouth. And I know other sparks who work all over the country in commercial and there relatively busy. My joiner friend in York says it is picking up slowly.. I think all the west is struggling at the minute..

My nephew in Portsmouth is a VERY HARD worker, He'd shovel poo all day for cash if that what it takes, any leads would be HELPFUL.
