Welcome Mike. I'm also from Miami. Born at North Shore Hospital and raised in N. Miami.
I understand your new area is much different than S. Florida.

Remember the movie "Easy Rider"?
Those two guys rode their bikes all the way from LA across the USA and as soon as they crossed into the Florida line, some redneck just shot and killed them.
I know its a movie and all. But?

I was born at North Shore as well as my two older kids.

I went back 40 years later and added some loads to the turbine power plant they used as a Co-Gen. .
