Default Hello From Texas

Hello, My name is Chris Chappell. I currently do Pressure Washing, Parking lot striping and am starting to work for an electrician that does light pole and sign work.

Last year I bought a GMC TopKick 60' Bucket Truck and use that for pressure washing jobs and was thinking about getting more use out of it.

I will be getting my apprenticeship license and will be learning about signs and light poles so I can change out bulbs, starters, capacitors, etc....

Just found this site and looking for a lot of reading to learn more.

Just wondering if there are any good books for signs or light poles you guys would recommend?

Thanks.

Thanks guys, really appreciate the warm welcomes.

Just wondering, I have been reading older posts for a while and still looking for some more info on working on signs/light poles.

I know about the NEC 2008 book/cd but is there anything specifically for signs/light poles or will it be mostly the code and OJT?

Thanks again.

Welcome aboard, Chris.

480 left you a couple of downloads for HID lighting.

Enjoy! Hope things go well for you here.
