Default Howdy from SW PA :-)

Hello, 26yr old female, sparkette, here from south-western Pennsylvania.
Took electrical engineering classes in high school, digital electronics, engineering drawing, industrial materials, etc. Graduated in 2004 and began working as an non union electrician apprentice. Had a really great boss and was fortunate enough to receive on the job training. Did mostly residential, and small commercial work. Worked there 7 1/2 years and now started a new line of work in Jan 2012 working in the cell tower business, I climb and repair, install cell equipment. The company I work for has a sister company that is straight electrical, but they are union. I am happy as a tower hand at the moment but would like to join the IEBW local 5 in the future. That's what brings me to your forums, looking for some in-site into the union world and help to pass the test. I had taken it earlier this spring but didn't pass. A good bit of hard math that I was not prepared for. But that a bit about me and I just hope to find a little help. Thanks.
