Default I Return

After a lengthy absence I am back, New employer, new position, new outlook on life.
I was laid off from my position as safely Inspector/trainer after 9 years with the company (not going to name them) I never thought I would be looking for a new job so late in my life.
As things would have it I took a few weeks off then started the Job Hunt, After I turned down several offers I sent my resume in to my current employer. Two hours later I get a call to come and talk to them. a few days later I get a call and they want to offer me a position. I go to the office, pick up the offer pack and I almost hit the floor when I saw it.

My new position is Training Manager, yes I am now a Manager, never saw that coming. I have been tasked with opening a training facility that will be second to none in the southeast. The main goal is to train everyone from New Hires all the way up to regional managers in everything from mounting boxes to planning jobs and everything in between. I am not an expert in every aspect, but I have resources beyond my wildest imagination to move forward with.

In the near future I will be elaborating on what is going on with training and such, but until then I am happy to return.

Congratulations, You see. One door closes - another opens.

Good for you.

Yes, and it is real nice when one door closes and a flipping garage door opens!
