I don't use google translate or any other means of dictionary.
Just urbandictionary for some of the name calling or abbreviations.

good for you josue to get into the trade so early. I've had a job since I was 10 but didn't get into electrical till my mid 20's. I wish I had done it earlier, the way you are, of course I didn't know I wanted to be an electrician till my mid twenties. such is life...

Ahhh......good, why do you ask?

On Saturday I welded rafters for a roof in a new gospel hall. A welder from Iowa came to help. He was 4 months away from getting his electrical journeyman licence and got fired!!!! Shoot!!

Josue,

you may or may not be aware of this, but there's been something of a substaintial drop off in apprenticeship enrollment here since the housing bust

what that means is, for anyone who sticks it out as one now, there may be a future supply / demand that works well for them

us old crummegeons aren't forever yanno....

I'm not sure if I will be an apprentice as soon as I get out of HS. I might go to university and be an engineer. IDK.

Yeah and electricians in Mexico don't make a good living either, moreover there are not many jobs. Engineers do make a living.

...age should not be an issue, we have a member here in his late 70's (BBQ), old as dirt, but knowledgeable.
