And im not saying get your sleep on now to be a jerk.....I wish someone would have told me that, I would have been more mentally prepared for the onslaught of crying baby all hours of the day... I was like a deer in headlights for the first few weeks..

My wife slept on the couch with the babies in the room with her so I could sleep.

But in all seriousness Mr Sparkle... babies (especially girls) are the best thing ever. My favorite thing is when i come home, she comes running to me screaming daddy daddy. That totally makes my day. It gives life a whole new meaning dude.. Enjoy the ride.

Thanks man, I figure the only drawback to having a girl is the fact that I will be bald inside of 5 years.

But both the wife & I are 35 so we knew it was now or never, pretty sure it's gonna be one & done.

Also pretty sure this is going to keep me from perusing that drug addiction I was interested in, which is a good thing.

We had ours when I was 35 & 37 we had been putting it off. But it was getting to the point where I would be too old when they where in high school. Of course I am very, very glad we did. It is a hell of ride, highs lows and everything in between.

It's a great day when you are kicking back all relaxed and your wife calls down stairs asking for you to come up in a voice that says 'something is really odd' so I go up to find our 2 year old had painted her room and herself in poop. My wife's question was 'Do you want to clean the room or bathe the daughter'.

I chose the room, it took all I could do to keep my lunch down while I cleaned walls, windows and rugs. It was a very impressive and thorough job of using all she had.

i had to fish out three doodie balls from the bath tub yesterday while i was bathing my daughter, i thought i was gonna hurl when i picked them up with my hand, my wife called me a big *****, i didnt realize she was watching...
I couldnt imagine washing it off walls, that might be too much for me....
