Default New apprentice with IBEW Fairbanks, AK

I was called by the union in late December, and put in my two weeks notice working for a local MGD Coors/ Coca-Cola distributor. In January I started with an electrical contractor working 5 10s in an unfinished building at Fort Knox Gold Mine about 25 miles north of Fairbanks!

I have been lurking on this site for about a month, and have found it very informative. We have been mainly installing cable tray and pulling cables ranging from low voltage to 15k. I have also gotten a taste of equipment operating, installing receptacles, and lighting.
