Default New Kid from CT

How's it goin guys, I joined cause I figured this site could bring me some useful information and answer a lot of questions I might have. After reading through the forum for a little bit most of the people on here seem very knowledgable and experianced.

I'm 18 years old and going through an electrical program at a tech school at the moment. I figured it would help me learn some before going straight out into the trade as an apprentice, but now I'm realizing I could have saved some money and just got in with a local contractor or union and have them pay for my schooling. But oh well I'll be done with the program in a year and ready to start my career. Hopefully some of the people on this site could give me some advice and help point me in the right direction in this trade.

Last of all I live in Connecticut, and im a big fan of the New York Yankees and Oakland Raiders if you were wondering from my username. How bout them raiders so far 5-4 actually with a winning record for once

It is a thing.

I'm not much of football fan but hell, I live in the city where the team plays.
About forty blocks away.
