I am 19 years old and applied for Local 175 electrician union in Chattanooga, TN. I applied and paid my $20. They said they would be scheduling an aptitude test. Is the test hard? Also is there any work going on this way? I know TVA is having outages but what else besides TVA, is this way for me? and is it busy now or slow?

Fail the aptitude test? Head off in a different direction. Aptitude test is all about common sense.

Welcome to the forum. Prepare for some roasting, the place is over run with ball busters. Search for old posts on entry tests and getting in a local, there are many.
