Default 2018 CEC for BC

I am seeing a lots of " if's " that the 2018 code may not be adopted for BC as Technical Safety BC already has the 2021 code under review.

Technical Safety BC...

Those guys getting out of hand. You must up-rise against them. You let these guys go you will need a permit to change a cover plate.

When I was talking with the inspector, and asked when it was going to be adopted, he casually through the conjunction IF into his reply.

Probably getting to big for their britches and didn't have time to review lol sorry but now they want IoT devices in elevators stating they will be able to tell when elevators want to break down in advance.

I have seen this story before. Then they adopt with short notice.
