Default Dimming Wire

Looking for 0-10v dimming wire to extend off of an EHBD. SJOOW is thicker than this and wont fit the same gland. Anyone know an alternative? Thanks in advance for any help. The current wire coming out of the EHBD says AWM and is 18AWG, not sure how to load a picture on here...sorry

With 3 posts you can't post a pic. I think you need 20-ish.

AWM is internal and for leads to make up connections. It's not for running in a building. I'm not in CA but here in the US that's how we roll.

As far as compliance, you need an approved building wire which will carry the current to the satisfaction of the inspector. On a 0-10V dimming that's going to be very minimal.

If you're running it in pipe, any THHN should work fine, but you mentioned cord. Where is this wire going from and to?

Thanks! Appreciate the quick response, I was looking into using SVT wire. Still matches all the ratings I need and should fit the gland that's needed.

Thanks again
