It’s a raceway. Do whatever you can afford.
If you open the floor in a data center, you will see miles of it.

3/8"? We're talking about Canuckistan here. I have never even seen one centimeter of it, let alone miles. Does the NEC even recognize it?

I think he is right. There was a bulletin released allowing flexible conduit to be used at any length.

I think so. I only use it for whips anyway (like most people).

Nope, I've decided to use my 1982 book from here on in.

It was my first ... you never forget your first, and I still have feelings for that book

I remember my first. It was kind of awkward and in a pickup truck and...

Oh, never mind.

Don't know if ok but ive used a lot of 3/8 one for ethernet, thermocouple and other small signals cabling for length over 10m and more and it has never been red flagged at inspections.

1. It's apparently very wrong by your codes.

2. It's such a ridiculous requirement the inspectors look the other way.

3. They are more concerned with line voltage than low voltage issues.

Not sure about up your way but the vast majority of low voltage work down this way looks like half blind monkeys did the installs while drinking.
