    Hi Joe, thank you for the reply, it is much appreciated and helpful. I have a follow-up question for you regarding https://www.electriciantalk.com/f29/...0/#post5077064. So this is where the builder put the outlet, directly below the hole for the water sprayer for the sink. We put a soap dispenser there instead but seems like a issue that was initially created by builder. Would this be a violation on behalf of builder? I am trying to figure out what my options are before I proceed.

    And just where does it say "not every product is required to be listed"? The NEC doesn't say hardware has to be listed, but, if you can show me that exact specification, maybe I'll agree, but I'll never apologize.

    WTF is a "Romex strap"? They're called "staples".
    You don't consider duct tape, and string for securing cables "really bad code information"?
