I am new to this site and to the electrical field. I graduated a program at Chattanooga state college in '11 but havent had a lot of experience on the job. I just started working for a decent size company that does all kinds of work from installation in the new amazon plants to some zaxbys all the way to residential service. I am happy with my new profession and love what I do but I was curious to know how would I know at what time I need a license. Its probably a dumb question but I thought about it a looked around online and have found things about apprenticeship licenses. If someone could help me out with where I could find out laws in Tennessee regarding licensing btw the company I work for also does out of state work too. Really ANYTHING AT ALL about the details of the profession that any of you masters think would help a beginner be prepared and well informed would be much appreciated. Thank you to anyone who replies and we will talk to you soon.

First of all I'd like to say hello and think yo in advanced for any questions answered. I just was hired a couple weeks ago as a first year apprentice but don't have alot of experience in the field. I wanted ask if someone could post a list of things are must know going in to the trade. I have a basic understanding but I know that the field is hardly ever the same from job site tojob site. Basically what I'm wanting is ant terminology that would help me not seem incompetent. I appreciate any info at all.
