I am trying to avoid taking out trees to upgrade the electrical on my house. I am considering bringing the power in to a sub panel first and then to the main panel in the garage. I want to keep some of the power at the sub panel for the condensing unit, pool, garden shed, etc. for 200 amp...
Hello... Installing an electric hot water heater... 220... I speak 110 pretty well, but 220...aaa not so much.
Heater has only to hot lines coming out and i am curious if i need a neutral at all? Client says yes just run it to the heater and attach to ground.
Has any ever used a 3 phase 480 delta to power 3 240 loads, If so how did you hook up the load to the delta and how did you protect the loads if one of the loads across one delta opened?
this is a non-motor load.
