Well, today we hit 10,000 posts. That's a great number considering how long we have bee online. We started this site in mid January of 2007 so we still have a while to go before we hit our 1 year mark.
To give you some idea ContractorTalk.com was only at 7,500 posts at one year so this site is growing a lot faster.

Anyways, I just wanted to say thanks to you guys for posting here and telling your friends know about the site. It means a lot and I hope you guys are enjoying it.

Actually, the forum software figures that out for us, and takes into account the rate of membership growth. It is calculated to be in the fall of 2014 when we hit a million posts.

These things tend to snowball... the first 100,000 are always the hardest

It will take several years though to reach 1,000,000. I think ContractorTalk.com is still another year out from that number. It's just a number anyways.

I just extrapolated the difference between 10K and 100K to 1M.
