Follow up Eval

Sunday, I got another call. The Main tripped without either oven on.

After 3 hours of Evaluation this is what I found.

1. I traced back small amp spike back to a walk in freezer compressor that was cycling on and off every 30 seconds. (needed a charge)

2. 2 220v loose breakers arching in one of the sub-panels (replaced and relocated to new section of bus)

3. The two sub-panel main breakers were right next to each other in the MDP creating extra heat, when I removed one I noticed that it was starting to melt the bus. (relocated to opposite side of panel, and relocated all surround breakers as to give more air flow and eliminate some of the extra heat). The breakers were within Load.

4. The cord ends on both ovens were damaged due to a loose connection, seemed fine the first time I checked them. (Replaced Cord ends and receptacles)

5. When I turned everything on in the kitchen Phase B was reading 195A.

If all above fails they are going to have to spring for a service upgrade.

I will keep you guys posted, thanks for all the help.
