This is exactly what happened with the Philadelphia Experiment. The story is they were running a bunch of 12 V motors at 18 V, to see if it would ruin them or anything, and it actually caused the ship to travel forward through time, and kill several men. Be careful with that.hello. i have a 24 volt motor that is 180 watt and 2600 rpm. i was wondering if i could hook up 36 volts to the motor to make it go faster?? would i ruin the motor or anything? should i not risk it??? thanks.
